Pete Rose, who was also known as “Charlie Hustle,” famously played for the Cincinnati Reds and won three World Series championships. He holds several MLB records, including the all-time leader in hits (4,256) and games played (3,562). He was a 17-time All-Star and won the MVP and two Gold Gloves.
In 1989, he was notoriously banned from the MLB after gambling on games. He recently died at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada in September 2024 at the age of 83.
According to a Nevada Coroner, Pete Rose passed away due to natural causes linked to high blood pressure and arterial hardening, as verified by HollywoodUnlocked.com. Diabetes was also believed to have played a role in the former MLB star’s death.
